Every engagement is different. We bring open-minded curiosity, deep experience, and genuine investment in your success to every one.
Laura Marshall
Laura has spent twenty years helping mission-driven organizations navigate complex technology change, with deep experience in behavioral health and community-based services.
She has led end-to-end electronic health record implementations, aligned stakeholders across clinical, operational, finance, and IT teams, and built customer success functions that drive adoption, retention, and long-term value. She's equally comfortable setting strategy and doing the work, bringing a structured, collaborative approach to high-pressure environments that drives clarity, momentum, and shared ownership.
Earlier in her career, Laura served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa and held regional leadership roles within international nonprofits. Those experiences, alongside a Master of Theology from Harvard Divinity School, inform a practice grounded in the belief that complex change is, at its core, a human endeavor. She also holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from The New School.
Rachel Miller
Rachel brings deep expertise in customer success, data management, and product alignment, with roots in the nonprofit, government, and behavioral health technology sectors.
She spent nearly two decades at a behavioral health technology company, where she built and led customer engagement and retention initiatives, developed product alignment strategy, and worked closely with agencies across the country to help them get real value from their technology investment. She understands both sides of the table — what organizations need and what it takes to deliver.
Earlier in her career Rachel worked at the NYC Budget Office and the Division of Mental Health, where she developed strong research and analytical skills. She holds a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University and a BA in Anthropology and Sociology from SUNY Binghamton.

Girl Be Heard partnered with Marshall Miller Consulting on a youth development project in Trinidad and Tobago. MMC provided essential technical assistance to our New York-based staff and our local Port of Spain team in the field around program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, as well as strengthening the programmatic infrastructure on the ground. Partnering with Laura and Rachel was excellent—our project was fully executed and delivered on time. We couldn’t have met our goals without this team.
